Rowena McNally LLB (Bachelor of Law QUT), Professional Certificate in Mediation, General Course in Arbitration & Mediation, Grade 2 Arbitrator (IAMA - now the Resolution Institute), accredited Domain Name Dispute Adjudicator (IAMA & LEADR - now the resolution Institute), and an experienced adjudicator.
Rowena is a Past President of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia and Immediate Past President of the Resolution Institute. She is a member of the Law Council of Australia (Business Law), a member of the Australian Water Association. Rowena is a Fellow of the Resolution Institute, the Australian Institute of Managers and Leaders and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Rowena has been involved in commercial, regional and rural dispute resolution for over 20 years, including as the Sugar Industry Commissioner and Chair of the Queensland Chicken Meat Industry Committee. Rowena has also managed an ADR process dealing with abuse complaints involving various church entities and personnel and has dispute resolution and experience in the banking & finance, mining & construction and coal seam gas & energy industries.
She was previously a panel member of the Queensland Energy Arbitration Panel and is currently a member of the NSW Arbitration Panel constituted under the Mining Act 1992 and Petroleum (Onshore) Act 1991. She has also been involved as a company director in various infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Paradise Dam near Bundaberg, and with the Mount Isa and Gladstone Water Boards.
Rowena is a member of the aUDA Domain Name Dispute Resolution Panel.
